Critical Mass: Scaling Passive House at Bunker Hill

The Bunker Hill Housing Redevelopment in Boston stands as a pioneering example of large-scale passive house implementation, aiming to deliver 2,699 mixed-rate housing units across 15 buildings. This panel discussion and presentation spotlights the all-star Bunker Hill team, including Nick Nigro (Leggat McCall Properties), Ray Kettner (Stantec), Andrew Steingiser (RDH Building Science), and Gregg Walsh (Suffolk Construction). As part of our “All-in!” theme for 2025, this discussion shares invaluable lessons learned from the design and construction of Building M, Bunker Hill’s inaugural structure.

You can watch the recording of the presentation and Q&A here.

You can read an article about the project on our blog here.

This event took place on May 13, 2025 at the BSA Space in Boston, MA. It was supported by the Sponsors of Mass Save.
