PASSIVE HOUSE CERTIFICATION

PASSIVE HOUSE BUILDING CERTIFICATION

The Passive House Standard is a third-party building certification program based on energy performance metrics, quality assurance criteria, and health & comfort requirements. There are two organizations which provide certification, the Passive House Institute (PHI) and Phius. Each organization sets it own criteria and requirements. It is up to each project team to choose the standard that best suites them and their project.
